Well, I don't really have any deep emotional thoughts right now. I will say that i am pretty worn out from playing in a volleyball tournament all day. Even though it didn't go as i would have like we still did pretty good and won our first game. But it proved to me that no matter what, the good, bad and my mistakes, I still jus love playing volleyball. The question lately has been whether or not I'm going to play ball in college... and i haven't decided for sure yet but i have to pretty soon. So for today my answer is yes: Volleyball in College..... as of today. This could very likely change on a daily basis. Oh Decisions, decisions, decisions.....

Jesus Valentine

Happy Valentine's Day everybody!!! I personally do not have a "boy toy" but i realized yesterday that everyone should be able to celebrate Valentine's Day even without a boyfriend/girlfriend. This great epiphany happened last night at about 11:30 when we were on our way home from my sister's basketball tourney. And let me tell you.... I have seen enough middle school basketball to last me a lifetime!!! Anyways we were headed back and the Christian radio station in my area was having people come on and tell something special they are doing for their loved ones. One lady came on and said that her Pastor gave her a Valentine from Jesus. Now, since it was so late i am having trouble recalling all the words but it was so sweet and so true. I had never thought about it like that. I may not have a boyfriend to give me chocolates and jewelry today but I have a God who loves me every day no matter what. All you have to do is look around to see all that he does for us out of love. From the most "dramatic," like sending his son to die for us, to the simple promise of a rainbow after every storm. He's with us every minute of every day! And to me that is just such a great feeling. Now I can tell people yes I do have a Valentine and his name is Jesus Christ.

Every relationship is prostitution????

So I just got back from volleyball practice and let me say it was a WORKOUT!!!! But anyway right now i am supposed to be doing my homework, which i have in like every class. Stupid AP classes. But as you can see I'm blogin instead. Something my English teacher said today kinda "stuck" with me. The teacher is a male so, well, ladies you'll know what i mean... He said that one time he wrote a paper once on how every relationship is prostitution. Yes, i know its kinda mind- boggling for a sec. His point was that a woman wouldn't take a second look at a guy if he didn't spend any money on her. He also said that women tend to be more materialistic, which i sort of agree with him there. But I would rather a guy set up a romantic picnic in the basement then take me to some fancy restaurant if he did it straight from the heart. But that's just me. And so therefore he says its practically the same as a guy walking up to you and paying you $200 dollars just to sleep with you. And i think that most of us would be very insulted. I don't know it's just something to think on. Again feel free to comment.

Hello Blog...

Well, here goes nothing. I am going to attempt to keep this blog thing up but with my busy schedule who knows. I might end up blogging every other month. Only time will tell. But.... for now this is my first post!!! Yea!!! : )
